We do not recommend using plexiglass outdoors. Although it is sturdy, it can eventually discolour or be damaged by exposure to sun and weather. For outdoor use, an Instawall on aluminium is a much better choice.

No, for damp areas such as the bathroom, we advise against acrylic glass. Do you want a print that can withstand moisture and stay beautiful? Then choose an Instawall on real glass – it is perfectly resistant to steam and splashes.

Yes! Plexiglas is moisture-resistant and easy to clean, making it ideal for rooms where it might be a bit damp or splashy.

Photos taken with a camera or phone are often of sufficient quality. At Instawall, we look at the number of pixels in a photo to determine its quality. Photos for a 'small' square in an Instawall must be at least 640x640 pixels. You will automatically receive a notification from us if the resolution of the photo used is too low.

Low-resolution photos will not print sharply. We therefore recommend replacing low-resolution photos with other photos. Do you still want to include the photo in your design, for example because the photo is very valuable to you? That is, of course, possible. However, be aware that the print quality of the photo will be less sharp than the print quality you are used to from Instawall.

Yes, absolutely! As a logged-in user, you can save your Instawall project online. To do this, create an account and click the 'save' button in the tool. You don't need to download any software to your computer; everything is easily done online.

An Instawall project and the photos you have uploaded with it will remain saved in your account for one month. Please note: the photos are linked to an Instawall project. If you want to create an Instawall of a different size, you will need to re-upload the photos. If you have ordered the photo project, the photos will no longer be visible in your account afterwards.

Have you been working on your Instawall for longer than a month and haven't saved it in the meantime? Then our system is forced to delete the photos. Due to our privacy guidelines, photos are not stored for longer than a month. Was your project created less than a month ago and your photos were still deleted? Then it might help to log out and log in again, or use a different internet browser. Please note, the photos are linked to an Instawall project. If you want to create a different size Instawall, you will need to upload the photos again.

A printed Instawall or photo enlargement cannot be adjusted after it has gone into production.

Our photo products on aluminum, glass, and acrylic glass are delivered with a high-quality hanging system as standard. This is mounted during production, so you can immediately hang your Instawall or photo enlargement at home.

This is very easy with our hanging system, which we mount on the back of your print and which you then hang on the wall with one or two screws. If you don't want to drill holes in the wall, you can also opt for a rail system with which you can hang and move your wall decoration using the accompanying hanging hooks and cords. These rail systems are available at hardware stores and framers.

You will receive your Instawall ready-made, including a free hanging system. So you don't have to choose or order anything extra yourself – just hang it up!

Yes, all Instawalls on plexiglass come with a protective film on the front. This keeps the surface scratch-free during transport and installation. Just remove it and it's ready to shine.

We will start working on it right away. Your Instawall will usually be delivered within 5 working days. You will receive a track & trace once it's on its way.

The perfect Instawall starts with the right size. Because no matter how beautiful your photo is, if the size isn't right, it won't be shown to its best advantage. Too small and it disappears, too big and it dominates. Time for balance!

Our golden rules:

Above your sofa

Use the 2/3 rule: your Instawall should be approximately two-thirds of the width of your sofa. So, if you have a 180 cm sofa, go for an Instawall of about 120 cm wide. And hang it at eye level, with 20-25 cm of space above your sofa.

Above your bed

Same rule, different vibe. Choose a size that is two-thirds of your bed's width and hang it about 20-25 cm above the headboard. Peace in your bedroom? Think of landscapes or abstract art.

In the hallway

Narrow wall? Choose a vertical Instawall. Hang it about 145 cm from the floor to the center of your decoration. Are you using multiple small Instawalls? Keep 5-15 cm spacing for a sleek look.

Above a dresser or table

Again: not wider than the furniture. Guideline? Approximately two-thirds of the furniture's width. And hang it 10-30 cm above for that 'wow' effect.
